The Saturday Afternoon Hot Stove will feature 3 esteemed Stanley Cup winning members of the Calgary Flames Alumni! Dana Murzyn, Colin Patterson and Jamie Macoun will sit down and chat with us about their historic run to the Cup and what life was like after. There will even be a chance for some attendee questions and maybe a few autographs handed out at the end.
Ryan Straschnitzki, former Humboldt Bronco and founder of the Straz Strong Foundation will be sharing his story of struggle and triumph following a life-altering bus accident in April of 2018. Ryan aims to spread a message of positivity and motivation through storytelling and life lessons he's learned thus far. The Red Deer Food Bank will be at the convention on SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 14th from 10-6 accepting donations of non-perishable food items and will have their tiptap machine to accept any additional donations. Whether you help through monetary donations, donate food, volunteer your time, or spread the mission of the Food Bank through word-of-mouth – thank you. With your ongoing support we can provide free food for people in situations of food scarcity. We couldn’t accomplish our goals without the help of supporters like you.
